Height and weight chart — women aged 25–34
The healthy range by height, and an honest account of what does and does not change at this age.
The range at 25–34, and what moves it
44.4–55.0kg
Adult height is fixed and stable throughout this band. Any change you see on a stadiometer here is measurement variation or posture, not growth.
For an adult woman of 5 feet 1 inch, that band is 10.6 kg wide — and it reads the same at 25–34 as at any other adult age, because BMI carries no age term. What genuinely changes at this age is below the table.

Why this range does not move with age
- Convert the height to metres and square it: 5'1" is 154.9 cm, so 1.5494² = 2.4006.
- Multiply by each end of the published band. That is the entire calculation; there is no decade coefficient to apply, because no adult classification publishes one.
- Check what a chart claiming otherwise is citing. Age-varying "ideal weight" tables trace back to mid-twentieth-century American life-insurance data, not to a current classification.
- Read the range as a range. Two women at opposite ends of the same row can both be healthy.
weight (kg) = BMI × 2.4006 age term: none published

Both columns are the same arithmetic — weight = BMI × height in metres squared — read against two different published band sets. The height links go to SehatCheck, which publishes the full BMI table for each height.

What actually changes at 25–34
Desk work, commuting and the end of student-era incidental activity usually cost 2–5 kg across this decade without any change in what a person eats. South Asian adults tend to add that weight abdominally, which matters more for metabolic risk than the total does.
None of that moves the numbers in the table, and this page is not going to pretend otherwise. It changes what the numbers are worth paying attention to.
প্রশ্ন
What is the ideal weight for a woman aged 25–34?
It depends on height, not on age. At 5'1" (154.9 cm) the healthy range is 44.4 kg to 55.0 kg on the Asian-Indian BMI band. The full table on this page gives the range for every height. No Indian or WHO adult classification publishes a different weight range for a 25–34 year old than for any other adult.
Why do other height weight charts show different numbers by age?
Most of them are reproducing a mid-twentieth-century American insurance table, or they have added an age adjustment that no published classification supports. The honest position is that adult BMI bands have no age term. This page shows what genuinely differs at 25–34: desk work, commuting and the end of student-era incidental activity usually cost 2–5 kg across this decade without any change in what a person eats.
Does height change after 25?
Adult height is fixed and stable throughout this band. Any change you see on a stadiometer here is measurement variation or posture, not growth.
Should I use the Asian-Indian column or the WHO column?
If you are Indian and living in India, the Asian-Indian column is the more relevant reference population — that is the entire finding of the 2004 WHO expert consultation. The international column is shown because it remains the WHO classification and is what international comparisons use. Between the two columns is a genuine grey zone, not an error.
Healthy weight ranges from the BMI bands published by the WHO Expert Consultation on BMI in Asian populations (2004) and the WHO international classification. No age adjustment is applied because none is published. General information only — not medical advice. Growth varies enormously between healthy individuals; a single measurement means little.
